Nestled in the breathtaking beauty of Urubamba, my friends and I discovered a hidden gem that transcended the ordinary hotel experience. As we stepped into our lavish accommodation, we felt an immediate sense of tranquility—a blend of rustic charm and modern luxury kissed by the surrounding Andes. After unpacking, we headed straight for the spa & wellness centre, where our collective curiosity took us on a journey of relaxation. The moment we entered, the soothing scents of essential oils enveloped us, promising the blissful escape we were all seeking. The serenity of the space was palpable, inviting laughter and whispers as we flipped through treatment menus. Whether it was indulging in revitalizing body scrubs or the gentle warmth of the sauna, our spirits lifted under the expert hands of skilled therapists.

After hours of pampering, we made our way to the sun terrace where the lush garden area beckoned us with its vibrant flora. Here, we laid out beach umbrellas, creating our little haven under the Peruvian sun. The BBQ facilities caught our eye, and soon the air was filled with the delightful aroma of grilled local delicacies. We shared stories while relishing food that seemed perfectly seasoned by the breathtaking landscape that surrounded us. As the sun painted the sky in hues of orange and pink, we made time for a few personal indulgences from the spa menu—a soothing foot massage for one, a rejuvenating facial for another. Each laugh and shared experience deepened our bond, making the moment feel timeless.

As evening descended, we retreated to the leisure/TV room, yet chose napping to merely watching. The comforting atmosphere lulled us into restorative rest, making space for new adventures the next day. However, we couldn’t end our night without a visit to the open-air bath. Under a blanket of stars, with the faint sounds of the Andes rustling around us, we let the day's experiences wash over us once more—each of us reflected in the other’s delight. The journey in Urubamba brought not just relaxation and adventure, but memories that would forever be etched in the fabric of our friendship, all thanks to the enchanting hospitality we found at this wonderful hotel.
