Impressions
Nestled high in the Andean mountains, the hotel offers a captivating blend of traditional charm and modern comforts, making it an ideal getaway for friends seeking adventure, relaxation, and new experiences. As we pulled up to the hotel, we were instantly captivated by its terracotta façade adorned with vibrant local textiles in the lobby. The warm, inviting atmosphere wrapped around us like a cozy blanket. After greeting us with cheerful smiles, the staff showed us to our spacious suite designed for sharing—a perfect arrangement for our group, equipped with comfortable bedding, ample space to unwind, and a balcony showcasing breathtaking views of the city and mountains beyond.
What truly set our stay apart, however, was the hotel's thoughtful approach to bringing together the cultural and social aspects of Cusco. Each morning, we gathered in the rustic dining area where the friendly staff served up steaming plates of traditional Peruvian breakfast—cooked-to-perfection quinoa porridge, fresh fruit, and freshly baked bread. We reminisced about the adventures of the previous day within the walls of this charming hotel, where local art and landscape mingled. The location couldn’t be better; situated just a stone's throw away from the city's main square, we were able to explore the vibrant streets of Cusco together, dip into artisan markets, and enjoy evenings filled with laughter over delicious meals.
As the sun dipped behind the mountains, transforming the sky into a magical palette of golds and purples, we convened on the hotel's terrace, drink in hand, sharing stories and laughter that echoed against the ancient stones surrounding us. The staff's impeccable service extended beyond fantastic meals and clean rooms; they were happy to recommend hidden gems around the city—the quaint café where we savored rich Peruvian coffee, or the recommended local guide who took us on bicycle rides through lush valleys nearby. Our evenings turned into unforgettable bonding experiences as we cuddled up under blankets while stargazing against Cusco’s clear, crisp sky. There was something undeniably special about the way the hotel fostered connections—not just between friends—but with the incredible spirit of Peru itself.
