As soon as my friends and I stepped through the grand entrance, we were greeted by warm smiles from the staff, who quickly made us feel at home. The chic, contemporary decor, combined with traditional Peruvian textiles, created an inviting atmosphere that set the perfect backdrop for our adventure-filled trip. The spacious common areas, teeming with colorful art and local crafts, became our go-to spots for laughter-filled evenings, sharing stories over pisco sours, while the delightful aroma of Andean cuisine wafted from the hotel's restaurant.
One of the highlights of our stay was the rooftop terrace, which gave us panoramic views over the stunning Cusco landscape. Each morning, we indulged in a delicious breakfast while soaking in the breathtaking sights of the Andes, making it hard to believe we were truly in such a picturesque setting. We spent countless hours out there, soaking up the sun, taking group photos against the majestic backdrop, and reveling in the spirit of camaraderie as we planned our itineraries for the day. From exploring the ancient ruins of Sacsayhuamán to wandering through the lively San Pedro Market, we grew more enchanted with Cusco with every shared laugh and 'ah-ha' moment.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, our hotel transformed into a cozy oasis where we could unwind after a day's exploration. We gathered around the fire pit, wrapped in blankets, and shared captivating tales of our adventures, from spotting llamas on the Inca Trail to our spontaneous late-night escapades through the picturesque cobblestone streets. With an attentive staff that went above and beyond to make our stay memorable—arranging guided tours, recommending hidden gems, and catering to our every request—Rela was the perfect home base for our friendship-filled vacation. Surrounded by the charm of Cusco, I couldn’t have asked for a more delightful hotel experience that reflected the spirit of travel with friends, forging lasting memories that would bound us together long after our return home.
